That's a lot of money!
We all knew that both 19 Kids and Counting and TLC's parent company Discovery, were going to take a hit after the whole Josh Duggar scandal.
Even though it took the network quite awhile to finally cancel the show, everyone pretty much knew it was going to happen, especially after they pulled rerun episodes.

What we didn't know though is how much of a hit the company was going to take!
The Discovery CFO Andrew Warren revealed the details of how much the company's lost in a conference call on Wednesday morning. He said:
"Higher restructuring and other charges this year of $19 million, primarily due to content impairment charges of canceling TLC's 19 Kids & Counting."
This is similar to last year's final quarter when a similar thing happened to Discovery when they had to take impairment charges for canceling Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo due to their own scandal!
It's obviously quite a hit to the network, but we're sure they'll come back strong with another family people just can't get enough of — for one reason or another!
