The results are in… and Mission: Impossible is still king!
The Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation installment of the world-famous franchise is sitting at #1 on the box office charts for the second week in a row, thanks to a strong showing and good reviews — and it even beat every new release out in theaters this weekend, which includes some big films!

The Tom Cruise-led flick did $29.4 million at the box office this weekend, which is a bit of a decrease from their opener, but still good enough for first place.
To get there, the film overcame competition from Fantastic Four, which only saw $26.2 million in sales on its opening weekend, and The Gift, which finished a distant third at $12.01 million on its initial weekend out in theaters.
Obviously, a second place showing and just $26 million is a big bomb for Fantastic Four… yikes! Rounding out the top 5 was Vacation in third place, which saw another significant decline from its disappointing opener, and Ant Man in fifth place.
The Minions movie, with just over $7 million at the box office this weekend, fell out of the top five for the first time during its theatrical run of the past five weeks.
What do U think — did U see Fantastic Four this weekend??
