For the September issue of Health magazine, Sophia Bush was very candid about the tragic loss of her ex-boyfriend and friend Dan Fredinburg.
In case you forgot, the Google executive passed away back in April while hiking Mount Everest when a deadly earthquake hit Nepal.

"Losing one of my best friends a few months ago shattered me. There were days I felt like my body had been turned inside out. I felt like my heart was on the outside of my body and everyone who came near me was stabbing me."
We can't even imagine the pain the One Tree Hill alum went through following her untimely loss.
What makes matters worse is that the brunette beauty had to attend the White House Correspondents Dinner the same day she learned of his passing. Though the duo had previously split in February 2014 the breakup was amicable and Miz Bush still considered Dan a close friend.
However, it appears this loss has taught the starlet to live in the moment.
"The crazy thing is that since Dan died, the lessons have come like Mack trucks. There is no next time. There is no excuse to wait a day to do what you want to do and to change the way that you want to change."
Though, with all of her life experiences, it appears that Chicago P.D. actress is still battling with certain fears. The 33-year-old addressed in her interview her fear that she is not "enough."
"The word enough is a monster for me. I don't know how anyone ever feels that they are enough: successful enough, smart enough, pretty enough, healthy enough.
I got so scared the first time I decided to say, 'I am terrified of not being enough.' And what came back tenfold – women who identify, women who sympathize and women who experience all of that – was mind-boggling to me. We are so in this together. And that helps."
Wow! What an honest answer.
She even highlighted that this mantra goes for appearances too. Sophia noted:
"We are so conditioned as women to hate on ourselves all the time, but look at what we can do. This is me, whether I like it or not. I will never be as tall as Gisele. I will never have bone structure like Hilary Rhoda. I will never have Penélope Cruz's hair. So who cares?"
Ironically, we think this may be the best the TV star's ever looked.
Keep doing you girl — you are SLAYING it right now!
