The Duggars will be back on the air — or at least Jessa and Jill will be.

ICYMI: Following Josh Duggar's molestation scandal, the 19 Kids and Counting family has been surrounded by immense controversy which eventually led to the cancellation of their popular show.

However, it was later revealed by TLC that two of Josh's sisters (who were also his victims) would be a part of the one-hour documentary special about child sex abuse, titled Breaking the Silence.

On Thursday, it was reported that the anticipated documentary program would air on August 30. Fun fact: the special program will run commercial-free.

A press release stated:

"[ The documentary ] is an effort to promote education, raise awareness, and advance the conversation on this important matter."

Well that's fair. Perhaps, the network is trying to make up for having TWO controversial families pulled from the air just this year?!

TLC is also partnering with RAINN and Darkness to Light, which are two of the nation's leading abuse prevention organizations. That is definitely a smart move.

We have no doubt this TV special will be one not to miss.

The statement continued:

"The one-hour documentary is built around the personal and emotional stories of brave survivors who have found the courage to come forward."
