We are incredibly heartbroken!
As we reported, Celine Dion is returning to her residency in Las Vegas after her cancer-stricken husband — Rene Angelil — requested her to do so.
In an interview with USA Today published on Monday, the My Heart Will Go On singer dishes on the various emotions she will have on her first show back.

The 47-year-old said:
"That first show, it will be fragile… There will be moments. Of emptiness, laughter, awkwardness, tearing up. But that's the point of coming back — otherwise, I [would] just release an album."
The Canadian originally went on hiatus to care for her ailing husband, who has battled throat cancer for several years and has to be fed through a tube three times a day.
While the musician constantly asks medical professionals how long he has left to live, they still don't have an answer:
"We have asked [doctors] many times, how long does he have, three weeks, three months? Rene wants to know… But they say they don't know."
And there are moments where Dion and Angelil are at their most vulnerable.
"Sometimes he just wants me to enter into a different place with him… I'll say, 'You're scared? I understand. Talk to me about it.' And Rene says to me, 'I want to die in your arms.' Okay, fine, I'll be there, you'll die in my arms."
Ultimately, the legendary diva must be strong for her man.
"You can have your shaking knees at the end, but when someone you love falls and needs help, it's not time to cry… Afterwards, sure. But not yet."
We greatly applaud Celine's strength and we hope Rene the best with his health.
