This is unimaginably tragic.
The team did release a statement on the matter, though (below):
Her latest publicity stunt just might piss off a lot more people — millions, in fact.
The Dooo It! singer posted a shot of Pope Francis holding an image of her album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz after it was photoshopped in in place of a bible.
Suffice to say, many Catholics aren't pleased with Miley using the pontiff for promotional purposes — especially those from the Pope's native Argentina.
"Enferma mental," one fan wrote in Spanish, which translates into "mentally ill." Another wrote, "this is disrespectful."
Still, the post has garnered over 100,000 likes since it went up Tuesday afternoon.

Although the album is free, looks like Miley's going to outrageous lengths to promote it. So far, no word from the Vatican, but we doubt they'll respond!
Do U find Miley's Pope post offensive??
