Empire may have only been on the air since early January, but three of the musical drama's young stars are already on their way to becoming household names!
While Jussie Smollett and Yazz have a multitude of songs on the FOX hit series alongside Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, one of the other up-and-comers had to get her name out there in a less conventional way…
By becoming bestiez with Taylor Swift, of course!

Serayah has been all over Hollywood recently — from joining Tay Tay in person at the VMAs and at her 1989 world tour, to nabbing one of the coveted spots in the star-studded Bad Blood music video!
So what does the 20-year-old have to say about joining the most prestigious squad in all the land??
"I was driving, and my mum called me, saying, 'So guess who just called me? Taylor Swift!' She said that Taylor had asked for my number so she could talk through everything about the video. I was like, 'Don't ask me! Just get her to text me now!'
We all hang out. We get together and we go eat and go to late-night cafés. I think people think it's this celebrity gathering, but it's just a bunch of girls, hanging out."
It's nice to hear that Taylor & Co. are as normal as we imagine them to be.
And 2015 is definitely going to be a big year for Serayah — because if she was able to make a name for herself during Season 1 of Empire, she's gonna be even bigger now that she's been bumped up to main cast for the upcoming season!
Make sure to catch Serayah, Jussie, Yazz, Taraji, Terrence, and the rest of the cast when Empire returns for Season 2, Wednesday, September 23, at 9/8c on FOX!
