Well, that's one way to avoid an overly negative response from liberals.
Candace Cameron Bure made her big debut as the most conservative co-host of The View on Tuesday, and the most controversial aspect is the lack of controversy!
Unlike the other new hosts, Candace awkwardly didn't join the panel until halfway through the show — well after the discussion about Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who refused to issue same sex marriage licenses.

Ch-ch-check out Whoopi Goldberg, Michelle Collins, Raven-Symoné, Joy Behar, and Paula Faris having their convo on the Hot Topic without Candace (above).
And then a few minutes later Candace came on to talk all things Fuller House (below) — and never mentions Kim Davis at all!
Was her awkward mid-show intro to avoid a fight on the first day? After all, she and Raven got into a pretty heated argument over the Oregon bakery that was fined after they refused to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple!
Candace talks about how her busy Netflix schedule will interfere for a while with her hosting duties, but that doesnt explain missing 30 minutes of your first show!
She was already at the studio!
Was this just to avoid controversy? What do YOU think??
