On Monday, it was revealed that the up-and-coming rapper, Dex Osama, passed away at 26-years-old after being shot. Tragic.
Reportedly, Meek Mill's protégé was gunned down while leaving the Crazy Horse gentleman's club during the early hours on Monday in Detroit, MI. It's said that the gunman was waiting outside for the victim.
Apparently, Osama ran to a nearby gas station after receiving the fatal shots in his chest and stomach. Reports also claim that two others were injured during the violent incident. So sad.
Nicki Minaj's main man confirmed the unfortunate news as he took to Instagram to share a snap (above) and pay tribute to his fallen friend.
"Damn RIP YOUNGIN….. Had a lot of talks with you about getting out them streets and chasing ya dreams! I really believed in you and seen you putting on for Detroit! RIP @dex_osama 🙏🏾 for all my fellow young kings coming up tryna make it out, take ya time and think about where you want ya life to go! MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL! Never let them streets shatter ya dreams!!!"
Well said, Meek! We're not surprised by this touching note as it's said that the ImaBoss rapper was the one to give the deceased his record deal.
This tragedy is just so unfortunate. Our thoughts are with the victim's family and friends during this trying time.
This could become really big -- and it sounds horrifying.
KeKe Palmer is accusing performer Trey Songz of 'sexual intimidation,' among other things, after she randomly appeared in his newly released music video for Pick Up The Phone that was released on YouTube on Friday.
From what we can gather reading Palmer's passionate Instagram message that contained the accusation, it appears she did NOT give Songz consent for her to appear in the video -- but the Scream Queens star takes it even further than that.
It is scary and potentially triggering to read, but here is her full, emotionally-charged IG message about what led up to her non-consensual appearance in the video and the hints about how she was forced into it (below):
