The drama surrounding Corey Haim's alleged sexual abuse at the hands of an A-list actor is nonstop.
We just hope everything is okay!
Last month, Louis Tomlinson's estranged father — Troy Austin — was found at a park in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England intoxicated, trying to muster up the courage to kill himself.
According to the Doncaster Magistrates Court, police began looking for the 46-year-old after his family reported him missing.
When officials did find the One Direction band member's biological dad, he was standing next to a car he allegedly borrowed, where alcohol was found nearby.
It is also reported that prior to law enforcement discovering him, he had inhaled noxious fumes.
When Austin was taken to the station, he tried to harm himself by hitting his head on different surfaces, and was subsequently taken the hospital due to his self-inflicted injuries.
Ultimately, Troy was charged with failing to provide a specimen, given ten points on his license, and ordered to pay £250 in fees.
The judge spared him jail time because of his charity work with Doncaster alcohol service, as well as his mental state at the time of the crime.
Austin's lawyer Ross Wagstaff says this incident was NOT related to his estranged relationship with his son Louis, but because of the issues he is facing managing a hotel with his older brother Dean Austin.
"Mr. Austin and his brother are the joint proprietors of a local hotel left to them by a family member. He was taking regular income from that business but that relationship broke down and led him to take the action he has."
In case you didn't know, Troy split with Louis' mother Johannah Tomlinson when he was just five years old.
The pop star has since taken the surname of his stepfather Mark Tomlinson.
We just hope Troy learned from this experience and that he gets the help he needs!
