Unfortunately, the incident was pretty violent and disturbing which makes us wonder if Brendon fell victim to his addictions again. Nick did appear a bit off on his recent Dr. Phil appearance, after all.

According to authorities, the 44-year-old was arrested near a family owned hotel in upstate New York after his girlfriend alleged that the actor smashed her cellphone and stole her car keys in an attempt to stop her from leaving. To make matters worse, cops also reported that Nicholas choked the victim.

Authorities talked about the incident to the press, revealing:

"Last night around 11:30 p.m., we got called to a nice family-owned hotel in town for a reported domestic disturbance. We got to the room and we found a 33-year-old female there by herself, and she reported that she had been in a domestic incident with Nick, and he had subsequently left before we got there. She did not have any physical injuries that we were aware of."

Yikes. We're just glad the GF is okay…

N.B. was subsequently charged with two counts of criminal mischief and one count of obstruction of breathing, which are misdemeanors. He was also charged with robbery in the third degree, which is a felony.

We'll update you on this cases as it progresses.
