The 45-year-old actor, who played Cosby's on-screen son Theo Huxtable during the long-running sitcom, told the Associated Press that he worries about the future of the show:

"My biggest concern is when it comes to images of people of color on television and film, no matter what … negative stereotypes of people of color, we've always had The Cosby Show to hold up against that. And the fact that we no longer have that, that's the thing that saddens me the most because in a few generations the Huxtables will have been just a fairy tale."

As someone who worked so closely with the two-time Golden Globe winner, we can imagine this being very difficult.

While Malcolm admits to have been in contact with the 78-year-old comedian about the scandal, he would not reveal what the two talked about:

"I think the things that we discussed really have to stay private between us. But it's just a bad situation all around — for him, for his family, the women, their families, the legacy of the show."

He's right — this is just a terrible situation and we hope justice is found for the over 50 women who have come forward.
