Selena Gomez makes for one honest interview!
The superstar went on the Today show Monday morning for a live performance of a few songs off her album Revival, and in the process, she sat down for an interview with the show's hosts.

In the sit-down interview, the Good For You singer discussed a wide range of topics, but she wasn't quite ready to discuss her recent health diagnosis centered around lupus:
"To be honest, it still kind of makes me a little uncomfortable to talk about … That's what my break was really about. I could've had a stroke."
Ugh. Poor Selena.
As scary as the diagnosis and treatment may have been, the 23-year-old was optimistic enough to turn it into a meaningful moment for her fans:
"I feel I'm able to reach my fans and understand people when I am one-on-one with them, and they're kind of dealing with the same thing. So, I'm just trying to take something that maybe is negative and turn it into a positive."
On a much lighter note, Today host Tamron Hall asked if her fellow co-host Willie Geist might be able to join Gomez's girl group that she's formed with Taylor Swift (and so many other lovely ladies!), and Gomez was honest with Geist about his chances:
"Here's the thing. We haven't really had any males. That's kind of why we have the squad. So maybe your daughter could join. I don't know if you could."
LOLz!! Sorry, Willie.
Ch-ch-check out all this and much more on the entire interview (below):
Glad to hear Gomez is getting back in the swing of things, and is in a much better place!
Oh, and it helps that Revival is killin' it!!!
