Lamar Odom touched so many lives.
As the basketball player is currently fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital, many individuals who knew the 35-year-old are speaking up about his amazing character.

One of those people is the reality TV star's former coach Bill Bayno.
In 1997, Bayno recruited the athlete to play for UNLV.
He said about Odom :
"He is a great, great human being… He would never hurt anyone but himself…it's just sad. I am just praying that he can pull though."
Unfortunately, their relationship was cut short when the NBA player transferred to the University of Rhode Island.
"He ended up transferring before he ever enrolled."
This decision created a lot of turmoil between the two.
"Lamar and I had a falling out and I didn't handle the situation well, and I was the adult, and I could of handled things [in a] much better way."
However, the assistant coach to the Toronto Raptors says they were able to dissolve their feud when they "ran into each other in L.A." and "spoke for three hours, gave each other a hug, and we stayed in touch ever since."
The 53-year-old is praying that Odom makes a quick recovery.
"He is just a sweet, sweet person, man… He cares about the world. He cares about others, and I am just praying for him."
We echo Bill's words, and we are confident Lamar will overcome this obstacle.
