Martha Stewart is quite the businesswoman!
It's hard to imagine the mogul more powerful and successful than she already is. However, it seems at one point Miz Stewart had aspirations to expand her empire beyond our wildest dreams.
In a recent interview, the 74-year-old revealed that she regretted not buying Kmart during negotiations a while back. Whoa!

"We thought about buying it, but we didn't do it, and we should have. That could have been our store — KMartha!"
LOLz! That would've been AH-Mazing!
Apparently, our dreams of having an official MS store were squashed by one Martha Stewart Living executive who was too nervous to move forward with the investment. Eventually, the potential buyout of the discount chain fizzled into nothing.
Still, it seems the TV show host's dreams of owning KMartha remains with her to this day.
"We'd have a fantastic chain of stores right now."
Maybe it's a good thing she didn't get her way since being power hungry got her into trouble in the past. Remember when Marty went to jail for insider trading back in 2004?!
Regardless, Martha's empire has grown exponentially despite not investing in the popular store. We mean her products are in Macy's, Michaels, and Home Depot! Currently, Sequential Brands Group is purchasing her business for a whopping $353 million.
Color us jealous!
