It looks like Simon Cowell is mentoring Louis Tomlinson on more than the music industry.
In a recent interview, the X Factor judge revealed that he dished out some parenting advice to the One Direction star — that he follows in his daily life.

"I just said, 'Enjoy it.' If I had been his age and someone had said, 'You're going to have a baby,' I'm not sure how I would have coped with it. But he did call me and I said, 'When you've embraced it, you'll be amazed how much you are going to love it. It will change your life for the better.'"
We're not sure what we love more, Simon's advice or the fact that the heartthrob still turns to the TV personality for advice!
As we previously reported, the-23-year-old confirmed he was expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirth back in August.
However, the 56-year-old noted that if he could become accustomed to being a proud papa then the British cutie will do just fine.
On first becoming a parent, he explained:
"I'm great with puppies, I'm not great with babies because a puppy will respond. Babies at a certain age don't do anything. When he was about 5 or 6 [months old], I was like … I just don't know what to do! Because he wasn't reacting to me and I thought, 'Maybe he hates me.'"
We never thought we'd say this but… poor Simon!
Nonetheless, it appears that with time the former American Idol celeb got the hang of being a dotting dad. The music industry pro went onto gush that his little tot is even taking after him in good and bad ways. LOLz!
"He loves music, and when I say loves it, loves it! Fortunately, one of the first records I got on tape of him playing along to was a One Direction record, so he's got good taste."
OMG! How cute.
We're just glad to know that Louis has a great role model in the talent scout. Are we the only ones looking forward to their kids' playdates in the future?!
