We just love how frank she is about everything.
It's only been four days since Adele returned to the music industry after three years out of the spotlight, but she's already back to her rightful place as the queen of pop.
But along with new studio albums and record-breaking singles come the necessary evils that are interviews… but Adele's sit-down with i-D Magazine released Tuesday doesn't give off the slightest indication that the 27-year-old fancies her privacy.
In fact, she's pretty blunt!
"[Xavier] said I was quite good. I had to cry and everything. You know what, I feel like a bit of a c*nt after saying for all these years I'd never act, because I really enjoyed it."
Based off her musical abilities, we're inclined to think Adele could go pro at whatever she puts her mind to… even swearing, LOLz!
But we are not even surprised a Cannes Jury Prize-winning filmmaker thought she had serious acting chops.
But the mother-of-one didn't just save her biting commentary for her work — she was just as candid about raising her 3-year-old son Angelo:
"[Parenting is] f**king hard. I thought it would be easy. 'Everyone f**king does it, how hard can it be?' Ohhhhh… I had no idea.
It is hard but it's phenomenal. It's the greatest thing I ever did. He makes me be a d*ckhead, and he makes me feel young and there's nothing more grounding than a kid kicking off and refusing to do what you're asking of them. It used to be that my own world revolved around me, but now it has to revolve around him."
She really is just like us! LOLz!!!
The British songstress may be one of the best songwriters out there, but for one of her proposed singles Send My Love To Your New Lover, we're hearing that Adele actually teamed up with Taylor Swift co-conspirator Max Martin thanks to Ryan Tedder's suggestion!
"I was like, 'I love this song, who did this?' and he's like 'Max,' and I'm like, 'Oo's Max?' and he's like 'Max Martin!' and I'm like, 'Oo's Max Martin?"
We're totally predicting an international No. 1 hit right there!
So… if Adele's already breaking records and ruling the charts before she's even given us a taste of a second song off her upcoming album, what's next for the world's biggest superstar??
"I'd like to tour properly. I'd like to see Britney [Spears] in Vegas. Dunno about more kids. Maybe after what Xavier said, I'll go into acting… I'd like to make another record. I'd like to be able to stand the test of time and the speed that the world is moving. I'd like to make records forever with the time I've been given for this one. If I can do that I'll be really f*cking happy."
We think it's safe to say we'd all be pretty effing happy about that as well.
Make sure to indulge yourself in Adele's soon-to-be masterpiece 25 when it drops world wide Nov. 20!
