It's nice to see couples being supportive of one another.
She took to Twitter Tuesday morning, saying:

Apparently couples can file for divorce from each other at the same time!
Wait — how is this possible?
According to Olivier's famous divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, Halle's divorce docs aren't valid because she used the alias, Halle Maria. Not to mention sources allege that the actress handed Martinez the legal papers, something you're not allowed to do under California law. Essentially, a party to an action can't serve the other party.
In the actor's filing, he cited "irreconcilable differences" as reason for the split and he also requested joint custody of the pair's two-year-old son, Maceo.
What's potentially problematic about this move is the 49-year-old's desire to move back to his native country of France. While Berry was never opposed to the idea during their marriage, she couldn't make the move due to her custody arrangement with the father of her daughter Nahla, Gabriel Aubry.
So, if the actor is awarded joint custody, we have a feeling little Maceo will be traveling overseas quite a bit.
