Why you gotta do that to us, Nashville!?
ABC's country drama is not playing around in their high stakes Season 4 — because Wednesday night's episode ended with an unbelievable twist and a character death that TOTALLY shocked us!

Here's what went down… [SPOILERS!]
Hayden Panettiere's country superstar character Juliette Barnes was on the edge of a building's roof, contemplating suicide after her husband (Jonathan Jackson) filed for divorce.
All season long, Barnes has been suffering from postpartum depression since giving birth to a baby girl last season — a storyline which actually mirror's Hayden's real life struggle with PPD since giving birth to her 10-month-old daughter Kaya.
However, it wasn't Barnes who kicked it, but her slimy music manager Jeff Fordham, played by Oliver Hudson — who fell to is death while trying to help Barnes off the ledge!
The actor's departure is probably due in part to his busy schedule. Kate Hudson's brother currently stars on Scream Queens!
But things aren't looking good for Hudson's character in that show either, as the mortality rate on the Ryan Murphy horror comedy is pretty high — unless, of course, he's the killer!
Are YOU surprised that Nashville killed off such a big character?
