Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have a lot on their plate these days — from filming, to raising a family, to pushing worldwide action to aid the Syrian crisis!
But even with all that going on, Brangelina still had time to appear in a rare joint interview to open up about their life as a married couple!
Sitting with Tom Brokaw on the Today show, Angelina talked about her upcoming film By The Sea, which follows Brangelina as an unhappy couple who vacations to France — where plenty of fights, tears, and drama follow!
Since Jolie not only directed the film but penned it herself, some critics questioned if the tragic drama was at all autobiographical of her own high-profile marriage to Brad!
"I'm counting on the audience to know that if it was close to us at all, we could never make this film. It's because we're actually very, very stable and these aren't our issues."
But the couple has had their set of issues — particularly those relating to Angie's health. Earlier this year, the Oscar winner underwent a surgery to remove her ovaries, which Brad said he supported 100 percent!
"Whatever's got to be done to keep the family together, and keep the family together as long as possible is gonna be done. This was her charge, no question. It's a scary decision. There's many things that can go wrong and go many different directions."
This surgery came only two years after Angie publicly opened up about decision to have a preventative double mastectomy back in 2013, in which she leaned on her husband for strength.
"I knew through the surgeries that [Brad] was on my side and that this wasn't something where I was going to feel less of a woman, because my husband wasn't going to let that happen."
AH-Mazing! The full Today interview will air Monday, November 2.
