Sam Smith couldn't take some time off from music without giving us something to fill the void!
On Monday, the 23-year-old premiered a beautiful new ballad on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show, just before his upcoming hiatus!

Over the weekend, the crooner confessed he would be taking a break after the promotional period for his Spectre song, Writing's On The Wall.
But before that fateful day, the hitmaker decided he had one last trick up his sleeve… a surprise track!
While the melancholy melody has only just been released, the tune itself is actually older than the English singer's smashing success Stay With Me.
He explains it had taken a while to perfect, saying:
"Something didn't work. I thought of it recently when we were thinking about the repackage, and we went in and just did it with piano."
The songbird describes the creation as "the saddest song I've ever written and probably the least radio-friendly song I've ever written."
Take a listen (below)!
The sentimental song will be a part of the deluxe edition of his 2014 album In The Lonely Hour, set to hit shelves on Friday.
