Rosie O'Donnell refuses to stay silent about her rough relationship with daughter Chelsea.
On Monday, the former star of The View opened up to Extra about her 18-year-old, during her Rosie's Theater Kids' 12th Annual Gala Celebration in New York City.

The teenager was noticeably absent from the event, and has supposedly been rebuilding her relationship with her birth mother.
After Chelsea went missing earlier this year, it turns out she ran away to be with boyfriend Steven Sheerer. Now that she's 18, and legally a consenting adult, she's reportedly living with his family in New Jersey.
The 53-year-old admitted that, while she's upset her daughter wasn't attending her big evening, the momma was just grateful that she knows her child's whereabouts, saying:
"I'm glad we know where she is… She knows there's a place for her should she ever want to come back regardless of what she says or does to anyone including me."
The comedian confessed that she's used to her daughter not sharing her space, adding:
"It's not a new situation in our home, it's new that the public knows about it… [Chelsea] was home for the last year but was gone for six years before that and that was for her own protection and everyone else's."
The TV personality is sad that her relationship with Chelsea isn't great, but reveals that she needs to make sure it doesn't affect her health, considering she did have some heart trouble a few years ago:
"Stress has a lot to do with your health and so you have to watch it… and it's hard for a mother, when a kid turns 18, there's not a lot you can do if they want to leave the nest, they leave."
We're sorry that Rosie and the troubled teen aren't getting along, but maybe some distance will actually do their dynamic some good.
