A secret service officer assigned to the White House was arrested on Monday after he was caught in a child sex sting!
According to reports, Lee Robert Moore turned himself in to police earlier this week — after he allegedly sent nude photos of himself to who he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
In actuality, the 37-year-old sent nudes to an undercover Delaware State Police detective posing as the girl, who Moore also reportedly asked to meet in person to have sex.
Once caught, Moore was extremely cooperative with authorities — he waived his Miranda rights and agreed to an interview with officers.
The agent, who was also released from his duties, was charged with attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor, and can face up to 10 years in prison.
A Secret Service spokeswoman released the following statement:
"Secret Service takes allegations of potential criminal activity extremely seriously This incident was reported to our Office of Professional Responsibility on Friday, November 6. On that same date, the employee's security clearance was suspended and the employee was placed on administrative leave. All Secret Service issued equipment was retrieved and the employee's access to all Secret Service facilities was terminated."
Such a despicable act. We hope Moore gets help — and justice.
