This is an inneresting interview!
It has been a few years since news of the pregnancy and affair scandal first broke, and now Simon Cowell is finally talking openly about the affair and how he feels looking back on it!

The affair, between Cowell and Lauren Silverman — who is now his partner, and had previously been the wife of Cowell's best friend Andrew Silverman — apparently dates all the way back to 2009, and it of course resulted in the birth of Simon's son, Eric, who is now nearly two years old.
the 56-year-old at the center of the scandal was surprisingly blunt in speaking to DailyMail.com's Mail on Sunday Event magazine:
"I'm not proud of the circumstances, I can't hold my head up about it."
But nevertheless, Simon was adamant in following through once he learned Lauren had become pregnant:
"This was not something I planned. But I remember going to the first scan with Lauren. I called him Tad because he looked like a tadpole. Something just kicked in. I felt unbelievably protective of both of them. I just absolutely wanted him. I just hadn't known that before."
And while Cowell is adamant in the interview that he's not a normal dad, he did sound very loving towards his 21-month-old son:
"I adore my son. We make each other laugh. We play with the dogs. I've taught him to share, to say please and thank you. Whatever he has he offers it to me."
The wide-ranging interview even touched on Cowell's fortune, and how he doesn't plan on sharing very much of it with his son!
"I don't like the idea you just sort of pass it down from generation to generation. I mean, I find that quite disgusting. No one ever gave me a penny and I believe part of my drive was to do with the fact I had nothing to lose. That gives you a lot of energy."
