In the wake of Lamar Odom's overdose last month, the status of Khloé Kardashian's relationship with James Harden was left up in the air.
In a revealing new interview with Ryan Seacrest, the 31-year-old opened up about her relationship with the Houston Rockets guard and Lamar's recovery.
The KUWTK star admitted she first filed for divorce from the former Lakers star after his continuous reckless behavior and not following through with rehab. When he was found unconscious at a Nevada legal brothel on October 13, their divorce was just days away from being finalized.
Despite being legally separated, KoKo decided to postpone the divorce in order to remain the troubled athlete's medical advisor.

So where did that decision leave her current relationship with 26-year-old Harden? The Strong Looks Better Naked author shared:
"I just thought it was really insensitive to [expedite the divorce]. I get it, I get why it's confusing, I understand all of that. James has been great. He's been very supportive with everything. There's of course times where I'm sure he was really uncomfortable about some of the things, but I'm a very honest person and I have nothing to hide and I was very open with how I feel like I had to handle everything with Lamar. I really, really appreciate how supportive James has been, and it wasn't just another layer of stress on me … [I'm] Just trying to make everyone happy and comfortable at the same time."
Sounds like the couple is sticking together through it all — Khloé even shared that she will be in Houston next week to visit her beau.
Meanwhile, she's in contact with LO and his medical team every day during his recovery, which she says is still in the very beginning stages:
"[His] organs are pretty much recovered and it's more his brain that is affected. I know he'll get there. It will just take time. What the doctors tell me is, ‘We don't have a crystal ball' — they love reiterating that to me. I'm very optimistic and I want to believe he can. There are no promises, but if he's willing to do the work — I know the speech therapy, or the occupational therapy, or just all the cognitive stuff I'm sure it's really hard for him and frustrating — but if he's willing to do it, I don't see why not. But it will take at least a year, at least."
The TV personality intends to support the former Olympian, but has no intention of being romantically involved as of now.
