This is unimaginably tragic.
The team did release a statement on the matter, though (below):
And it appears that this news has floored some of the Anger Management star's peers — including Heather Locklear.
In case you forgot, the duo starred in Spin City together back in the day.
The blonde beauty made sure to send her touching support to the controversial celeb and his family by taking to Instagram.

Poor thing. Still, the 54-year-old isn't the only person in Charlie's life that's sending him support. Recently, the Two and a Half Men alum received praise from his former manager Bob Maron.
The businessman noted:
"Charlie Sheen is a living legend. His legacy is that he's one of the greatest actors of his generation, and has entertained us for more than 30 years.
Those who know him personally would undoubtedly agree that he's one of the funniest, most generous and bravest guys I have known. I am incredibly proud to call him both a friend business partner."
The actor is slated to appear in a "revealing" interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show this morning. However, it's reported that the funnyman is claiming that there are no longer traces of HIV in his blood following years of medicine and treatment.
We have a feeling this sit down is going to be very interesting!
