For almost 50 years, the subject of Carly Simon's You're So Vain has remained of life's most guarded secrets that only Taylor Swift was privy to! (That's why her tour bus is so big — it's full of secrets!)
But now, the music legend is finally giving us the answer to the long awaited mystery… kind of!

Promoting her highly-anticipated memoir Boys in the Trees, the 70-year-old revealed that the second verse of her iconic song refers to none other than legendary actor Warren Beatty!
Simon told People:
"I have confirmed that the second verse is Warren."
But the singer makes it clear that the entire song isn't about the Bonnie and Clyde star! Staying true to the song's theme, the musician said:
"Warren thinks the whole thing is about him!"
Simon explained that the other verses are about two other men, who she won't be revealing the names of "at least until they know it's about them," adding:
"I don't know if I'll do it. I never thought I would admit that it was more than one person!"
We guess we should be thankful for getting this much intel!
Maybe Simon's admission inspires Taylor to finally tell us who the subject of Bad Blood is!?
