Well, this is good to hear considering the health problems Lamar Odom is facing.
According to law enforcement sources, the basketball star apparently will not be prosecuted for cocaine possession by Nevada officials despite being found with the drug after his overdose.

The Nye County District Attorney is apparently backing away from strong statements made by the sheriff, and instead looking at the bigger picture surrounding the case.
Apparently, sources claim that the D.A. is taking into account Lamar's medical and mental conditions when figuring out whether to charge the NBA star — and considering Odom's cognitive functions are so badly damaged, it seems as though charges may be a long shot.
Besides, reports indicate Lamar is in such dire shape as he goes through recovery that he may never be mentally competent to stand a trial, and thus, it'd be smart of Nye County to hold off on prosecution.
