It looks like Nicholas Brendon is now ready to confront his demons.
A few months ago, the Buffy The Vampire Slayer alum stormed off the set of The Dr. Phil Show in the middle of an interview, unwilling to find a solution with the talk show doctor.

On Tuesday, the troubled actor returned to the show with a different attitude — this time, opening up about his suicide attempt triggered by his substance abuse.
Brendon revealed that he mixed alcohol and sleeping pills to deal with his intense anxiety and depression, which turned into a suicide attempt on September 22.
He said he also tried to cut his wrists "with a steak knife." After Dr. Phil asked if he wanted to die that day, the actor responded:
"I think I wanted to be heard. I think I wanted to be helped, you know? Because I think there's a lot of good life to live."
Brendon then opened up about his domestic violence arrest earlier this year.
He admitted he was "inebriated" at the time but adamant that he did not choke his girlfriend. He said:
"I just felt at that time that my girlfriend shouldn't drive, so I tried to take her keys away. I held her down to get the keys."
At the end of the interview, the 44-year-old checked into a dual diagnosis treatment center, HeadWaters at Origins.
It really sounds like the actor is ready to commit to turning over a new leaf. We wish him all the luck in the world!
