Zendaya isn't afraid to be outspoken, especially when it comes to issues that really matter to her!
The 19-year-old has called out Modeliste magazine for photoshopping her pictures and the Disney darling constantly schools people on race and cultural appropriation. She's super inspirational and not going to back down.
One person who knows this better than anyone is former E! News host Giuliana Rancic. ICYMI: The TV personality made an "ignorant slur" about the actress' dreadlocks look from the 2015 Oscars, and the teen was quick to shut her down.

The musician told Complex magazine in their Women of Next Year 2016 issue that her Twitter response was a life lesson for herself as well as her critics, saying:
"It was a learning experience for myself and for everyone who read it. A lot of people don't realize that hair is a big thing for a lot of people, not just African-American women. It's something to be aware of and to be cautious of. So it was something that I really felt like I should speak on. There were so many women, of all races, that came up to me and were like, 'I really love what you said,' or 'I had my daughter read that.'"
Zendaya explained that she had her family in mind when she penned her response to the red carpet correspondent, adding:
"All my brothers and my dad at one point had dreadlocks. My little nieces have curly hair. And if they were to have someone say something demeaning about what they have and what they hold dear to them, then I would want them to at least have the pride within themselves to come up with a response that made sense and that they were proud of."
The pop princess proved her prowess in the dreadlock drama because Giuliana profusely apologized for her comments. And she says that a mature, strong woman is someone she's always been.
But, the brunette beauty admitted that not all teens truly discover who they are at first. She revealed this is why former child stars like Miley Cyrus have undergone such drastic changes over the course of their careers, saying:
"I think again it's that real model, role model thing. A lot of them were forced into being role models and they had to pretend to be something that they didn't feel matched up with who they were. And that's because they started really, really young. So you've got to realize when you're really young you don't know who you are yet. And as soon as you figure it out, you've already been forced to become something that you didn't really know you signed up for. So it's like, I get it. There's a lot of pressure, so I completely understand. Everyone has their different ways of learning and growing and finding out who they are, and you can't fault people for that. Again, I think with all the prior Disney stars, at least you can say they are themselves now"
She did share that there are ways to prevent your self-discovery from being super shocking, commenting:
"In order to avoid those problems just be yourself from the beginning and be honest with the world, because that's the only thing you can do. There will be no surprises."
But don't expect Z to chop off her locks, dye them blonde, and swing around naked on a wrecking ball!
"I'm not suddenly going to be like woo, crazy."
After all, this lovely lady does seem to have it all figured out, even though she's still in her teenage years! And this composure is clear to everyone who comes in contact with her. She confessed:
"Everybody says I'm like 19 going on 80, honest to god."
Surely someone who's THIS together must have locked down that special someone, right? Well, not so fast, Perezcious readers!
This gorgeous gal shut down rumors that she's dating pal Trevor — or anyone, for that matter:
"No, you've got to realize my schedule is kind of nuts. I don't have time to go out and get to know somebody. If I didn't know you from the last three or four years of my life, it's probably too late."
With all the things Zendaya is doing, we aren't surprised she doesn't have the time to date right now. But when she does, that lucky person better realize they've landed quite a catch!
