This past fall Johnny Depp made a terrifying transformation into the mob boss Whitey Bulger in the crime drama Black Mass.
But the Pirates of the Caribbean star might want remember that little girls may not love a creepy looking bald thug as much as they adore Captain Jack Sparrow — even if he uses the pirate's voice!

In an interview with GQ, Johnny and the director of Black Mass Scott Cooper told a story about how Johnny apparently freaked out Cooper's 8-year-old daughter using his Captain Jack voice! The director recalled:
"I looked down, and she's looking up at Johnny like she was thinking to herself, Hold on. That's Jack Sparrow. But he doesn't look like it. And I thought: what a great way to f— your kids up."
The 52-year-old actor chimed in, saying:
"I remember I had to do the [Pirates of the Caribbean] voice for her so that she recognized me."
We'd probably be a bit weirded out too hearing Captain Jack's voice coming out of Whitey's mouth, but the director seemed to love it!
Let's be real though, Scott's little girl may have been scared at the time, buuuut she's got an AH-Mazing story to tell for the rest of her life.
More importantly, SHE MET JOHNNY DEPP!
