The rematch of the century is on the books!
The UFC has set a date for the bantamweight title rematch between Holly Holm and Ronda Rousey for July 9, 2016 at a new arena in Las Vegas!
UFC President Dana White said on Wednesday that "it's Rousey" next for Holm, which seems pretty concrete.

But it seems Holm wants to fight even sooner!
According to the champion's manager Lenny Fresquez, Holm has an interest fighting Miesha Tate instead. Fresquez told the Los Angeles Times:
"Holly's used to staying active. We're from the old school, and we believe the No. 1 contender is there for a reason. [Tate] deserves a shot, but it's not for me to decide."
Rousey is still recovering from their first shocking match, in which Holm knocked her out with a kick to the head!
Despite the former champion saying it could be six months until she can eat an apple again, White insisted the MMA fighter will be ready for the rematch! But Fresquez isn't too sure, saying:
"I'm not sure Ronda will be ready for a July fight She took a severe beating and I don't think it's in her best interest to take the next fight so fast. They told me she's been ready and cleared, but … ."
However, it doesn't sound like the UFC president is taking the manager's opinion into consideration. He told reports in a sarcastic tone:
"We're real concerned with his opinion."
Hopefuly, Rousey makes a fully recovery before the fight — we're sure Holm wouldn't want to face off against an opponent who wasn't at 100%!
Are YOU excited for what will be an epic rematch?
