What a relief!
When One Direction first announced their upcoming hiatus, we'll admit we were a little scared that Made in the A.M. was going to be the last time we'd see the boy band completely intact.
Thankfully, Harry Styles finally gave us an update on how long of a break they'll be taking, and his answer is much more comforting than Liam Payne's suggested two-year gap.

While interviewing with British talk show host Alan Carr on Chatty Man Thursday, the 1D frontman eased Directioners' worries about the temporary breakup, simply saying:
"Let's give it 18 months."
We can totally survive one and a half years 1D free!

But that's not even the best part… because Harry himself admitted that he's not planning a solo career and, as of right now, never even wants one:
"We all write kind of separately and for other people and do stuff and bring it back, and that is it really."
Makes sense to us.
We're just glad that this means we'll probably be getting new music from One Direction as early as 2017!
