Jennifer Hudson isn't technically an American Idol winner — but she has had one of the biggest careers following her stint on the reality singing competition!
Even with hit records, a Broadway role, and an Oscar under her belt, the Idol alum would still love to make an appearance on the Fox show's final season!

At the opening of her Broadway debut in The Color Purple, the 34-year-old told E!:
"I hope to return..I hope to be a part of the Idol finale, the final show. I'm kind of sad to see it go because it's been a part of our homes. Each of us in America, you know what I mean? So it's going to be sad to see it go but I hope to be a part of the farewell."
We would LOVE to see the songstress take the Idol stage at some point in the final season, preferably belting out her Dreamgirls hit And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going!
We have a feeling that Idol producers will be giving Hudson a call to make a cameo of some sorts — Ryan Seacrest confirmed that the OG judges would be back, so it makes sense that they'd call in the biggest alums to return as well!
