The straw that broke the camel's back.
It's never easy to merge two established families — and in Yolanda and David Foster's case, it reportedly proved to be quite the challenge.
Yolanda's ongoing battle with Lyme disease, plus her eagerness to be on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have allegedly been a couple of the reasons the pair didn't work out. Now it turns out that combining Yolanda's three children — Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Anwar Hadid — with David's five daughters — Sara, Erin, Amy, Jordan, and Allison — from previous marriages was seemingly too much for the couple too handle.

An insider tell E! News that the timing of the 51-year-old's diagnosis certainly didn't do the family any favors:
"No one doubts that Yolanda is sick. It's very clear that she's legitimately not been well. But, David is someone who travels constantly and Yolanda became ill just one year into the marriage. It was a lot."
But at the end of the day, it just wasn't the right fit:
"David has daughters of his own and there were issues with the families blending. Bringing two sets of children together wasn't always easy. At one point, Yolanda was close to David's daughters, but things have changed. At this point, David thinks maybe he's just not cut out for marriage."
You may be wondering why Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner are in the family portrait (above) — and that's because David was very much a part of Caitlyn Jenner's sons' lives as he was married to their mother Linda Thompson from 1991 to 2005. Inneresting!
Whatever the reason for their split after four years of marriage, we hope nothing but the best for Yolanda and David in the future.
