Don't count the whole Mockingjay cast out for more Hunger Games movies!
But it looks like another surviving member of Panem agrees with the Lionsgate execs who said the series could "live on and on and on"!
Natalie Dormer, who plays rebel Cressida in the films, said she would "almost definitely" star in more installments of the franchise — but ONLY if the OG HG author Suzanne Collins was on board!
"I adore Suzanne Collins for her bravery and her imagination, and everything that is the success of The Hunger Games, the genesis, it all comes from Suzanne. She wrote such a complex world and yet at the same time had so many scenes that deal with all the things we're struggling with with our own time and zeitgeist.
So I'm just a huge fan of Suzanne Collins and her writing, and I think [Hunger Games producer] Nina Jacobson and [director] Francis Lawrence have both talked about this, but anything prequel, sequel, whatever would have to come from her and her penmanship. So the minute I know that Suzanne is writing something, then yes, my ears would prick up. Almost definitely."
It sounds like if the author signs up for more films, Dormer will definitely be following suit!
While any Hunger Games films are J.Law-less as of now, its nice to know not everyone from District 13 is down for the count just yet!
