Every year there are actors who get paid a BUTTLOAD of money for movies — but just don't seem to earn their paychecks…
Forbes just released their list of most overpaid actors for 2015, whose movies just didn't make enough to justify their huge salaries.
At the top of the list is Johnny Depp, whose 2015 films Mortdecai and Black Mass both underperformed — continuing his slump from Transcendence and The Lone Ranger.

Over the last couple years, Depp's movies reportedly ended up earning only $1.20 for every $1 the actor was paid!
What might surprise you even more are some of the other actors that made the list like Will Smith, Will Ferrell, and even Ben Affleck!
Ch-ch-check out the rest of the top ten (below):
1. Johnny Depp: $1.20 per $1
2. Denzel Washington: $6.50 per $1
3. Will Ferrell: $6.80 per $1
4. Liam Neeson: $7.80 per $1
5. Will Smith: $8.60 per $1
6. Christian Bale: $9.20 per $1
7. Channing Tatum: $10.80 per $1
8. Brad Pitt: $12.00 per $1
9. Ben Affleck: $12.30 per $1
10. Tom Cruise: $13.60 per $1
If you're wondering why Adam Sandler didn't make the list — he won the number one spot the last two years — it's because he was ineligible this year because the comedic actor signed a deal to have his next four films debut on Netflix.
BTW, Forbes only took each of the actor's three most recent films before June of this year and didn't include animated movies, smaller budget flicks, or cameos.
Do you think any of the overpaid actors can bounce back next year?
