Mariah Carey will always reign supreme as the Christmas Queen!
But fans need to check the internet twice, because — like Santa — Mariah ain't going anywhere this time of year!
More than two decades after its original release, the singer's 1994 pop carol scored its best rank ever on the Billboard Hot 100 — rising to the No. 18 spot!
The song also remains at the top of the Holiday 100 chart, as well as leading in Holiday Airplay and Holiday Streaming Songs!
Walter Afansieff, who co-wrote the holiday jam with Carey, spoke to Billboard last year about the song's continued success:
"Thousands of original Christmas songs have been written in the last 20 years, but for whatever reason, it just became that song. It just keeps growing and growing. I believe it will be the most successful, popular Christmas song of all time."
We're happy to say that Mimi is still SLEIGHING the holiday season with her music!
