Our hearts are breaking over this social media celeb split!
But, Miz Ballinger stressed that her former flame didn't wrong her in any way, adding:
Instead, the singer clarified that they ultimately weren't a good fit together:
Hilary Duff is loving life!
Because, let's be real, that drama from her split with Mike Comrie is So Yesterday! The blonde beauty is starring on the new, hit show Younger, and over the summer she released her first album in eight years!
And if we're being totally honest, the music video for Sparks had us falling in love with the 28-year-old all over again.
However, with her career kicked back into high gear, it's becoming challenging for her to juggle the demanding work schedule and parenting her three-year-old, Luca.
She opened up in Redbook's February issue about the guilt that comes with being a single, working mom, saying:
"It's hard to say that you really can have it all. I think you can to a certain degree, but fully loaded, pedal-all-the-way-down is tough. You're missing out on something, either on the career or on the family. When I'm really busy with work, I feel extremely guilty."
And that makes TOTAL sense! Being a single parent is a super tricky balancing act, but we think Hil is doing an AH-mazing job!
The former Disney darling also explained that there's a ton more pressure — and privacy invasion — raising kids in the public eye, explaining:
"After I had Luca, I went out to, like, the breast-pump store—I was still huge—and I just had a comfortable outfit on. And the next day [in the tabloids] it was like, 'Hilary debuts post-baby bod!' And I was like, 'That's not a debut! That's an errand!' It was such a happy time that honestly I didn't care; it wasn't until later that I realized how mean and invasive it was."
But don't expect this gorgeous gal to go walking down the aisle anytime soon! The lovely lady admits that, while she hasn't written off any future nuptials, she feels they aren't necessary, commenting:
"I don't want to say I wouldn't get married again, but it's not important to me. I don't feel I would need to be married to have another child. If I felt strongly enough toward someone or if someone felt strongly about it, I might say okay. But it's not essential."
Well, Hilary, you're doing a great job AND flaunting your independence!
If, at some point, you find love again, then that's great! But right now, all that matters is that you and little Luca are doing well!
