Well this is interesting!
In early December, when Donald Trump made comments about temporarily banning Muslims from entering the United States, a lot of people responded by creating and signing a petition to ban Trump from the U.K.
If the online petition received more than 10,000 signatures, then the British Parliament would have to issue a response to it, and if it received more than 100,000, the topic would be up for debate.

Well as of now, the petition has received about 600,000 signatures and is OFFICIALLY set to be debated on January 18. Even better news for people around the world is the debate will be live-streamed!
Of course with the news breaking, George Sorial, the EVP and Counsel for The Trump Organization, has already responded and done his best to point out:
"Any action to restrict travel would force The Trump Organization to immediately end these and all future investments we are currently contemplating in the United Kingdom. Westminster would send a terrible message to the World that the United Kingdom opposes free speech and has no interest in attracting inward investment."
Though there hasn't been a response from UK Prime Minister David Cameron, he did address Trump's statements about banning Muslims back in December saying his comments were "divisive, unhelpful, and quite simply wrong."
We're not sure about you, but we're definitely VERY interested to see what will happen as a result of the debate!
