Looks like Lady Gaga isn't completely in the legal clear yet!
French artist Orlan is bringing her 2013 plagiarism lawsuit to the U.S.!

Orlan originally filed legal papers in Paris back in 2013 accusing the Telephone singer of stealing ideas from her for the Born This Way — specifically the inspiration behind Gaga's facial lumps in the video as well as the single's cover — and looking for a MAJOR payout of $31.7 million.
This week, the French artist filed papers in a Manhattan court to request subpoenas for members of the singer's creative team who worked on the the video and the single's artwork.
This includes Gaga's former stylist Nicola Formichetti, as well as make-up artist Bill Brasfield.
Peter Stern and Alan Sash from the law firm McLaughlin & Stern released a statement saying:
"Orlan's unique artwork should be protected. We hope that questioning members of Lady Gaga's creative team will aid the French court in deciding the case."
In response to the recently filed papers, a representative from Gaga's camp said:
"This is nothing but an attempt by the plaintiff to generate US press coverage around a meritless case that was filed in France several years ago."
We wonder if there could possibly be any difference in New York courts than in Parisian ones…
What do YOU think??
