A funeral for Grammy award-winning singer Natalie Cole was held Monday in Los Angeles.
Last week it was confirmed that the music legend passed away as a result of heart failure back on New Year's Eve. The singer was 65-years-old at the time of her death.
Members of the This Will Be songstress' family, including her sisters and her son Robert, shared memories of the late star and even read a letter of condolence from President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.
Angela Bassett, Eddie Levert, Johnny Gill, Rod Stewart and Ledisi were also in attendance.

The service was held at the 5,000-seat cathedral of West Angeles Church of God in Christ, where Cole was a member during the '90s. She will be buried next her parents Nat King Cole and Maria Cole at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Natalie's loved ones.
