We're totally on board!
Last night marked an AH-Mazing Golden Globe Awards show that had the always funny and controversial Ricky Gervais hosting.
There were PLENTY of great jokes last night that were equal parts funny and offensive — including making fun of Caitlyn Jenner, Ben Affleck's affair, as well as getting into it a bit with Mel Gibson.

Sure, the British comedian probably offended a few people with his humor, but we thought he did a pretty great job overall. That's why we're so excited to hear that Deadline is reporting Gervais was asked back to host!
The online magazine chatted with the 54-year-old at the Weinstein-Netflix party where Ricky dished on the show and said he's been asked by some higher ups to return.
Apparently, The Office star's somewhat brash jokes have paid off. Despite annoying a few people, between 2010-2012, a Gervais' hosted show averaged a 5.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 17 million overall viewers. Whoa!
In fact, these ratings marked a 6% increase from the 2009's awards. Bravo.
While no decision has been made yet, we're definitely innerested to see if the Derek actor will accept! Stay tuned.
