Turns out she didn't bite the hand that feeds after all!
We were pretty shocked on Sunday when reports came out that comedienne Heather McDonald was scared of Chelsea Handler when they worked together on Chelsea Lately.
Well, after hearing Chelsea's scathing response to her former friend, it seems as though Heather wants to make it very clear that her "feud" with her belated boss is nothing more than an honest misunderstanding.

Following the initial Matt Weiss and Theo Von podcast that sparked the whole scandal, Heather took to her own Juicy Scoop show on Thursday to explain her side of the situation, saying:
"I want to publicly let everyone know I have never exchanged stories with Us Weekly or any other publication about Chelsea Handler or any other celebrity in exchange for them running photos of me. This never happened.
Next, I want to respond to my interview where I said 'I lived in fear, 100 percent lived in fear.' This quote was taken out of context. I was asked if I was afraid of being let go from the show, and the tabloids took one sentence out of an hour-long podcast and ran it as a headline. Chelsea herself said she didn't even listen to the whole interview. And I feel badly if she or anyone else misunderstood me, as I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked for her.
Again, I have NEVER sold or traded stories to the tabloids about Chelsea Handler to benefit myself. Again, I have never betrayed Chelsea Handler."
This actually sounds pretty reasonable to us since they always seemed the closest on the E! panel. And who wouldn't be afraid of getting fired from such a big job??
Now we're curious if Chelsea plans on apologizing for calling Heather a loser…
But whether the bad blood is real or not, the fight sure is great publicity for Chelsea's upcoming Netflix show! LOLz!
