This is gonna be a must-see!

The Carmichael Show isn't the most well-known comedy on television, but that might all change after the NBC sitcom airs a rather controversial episode about Bill Cosby this Spring.

The comedy icon's fall from grace was one of the most unexpected scandals of 2015, but we're hoping that Jerrod Carmichael's take on the sexual assault claims is more than just funny; we want it to start a conversation.

Luckily, the plot for the episode sounds pretty spot on with how we felt upon hearing about Bill's accusers — after the accusations come out, a debate arises within the fictional family about whether or not to use their tickets for an upcoming Cosby show.

Jerrod spoke to Entertainment Weekly about tackling yet another scandalous topic, saying:

"The episode is on the dilemma of any fan, and it's a thing that I've found myself going through with Bill Cosby in my personal life, being a comedian and in the same industry and admiring him. But I think a lot of people go through these things with whoever they're a fan of, anytime this happens. It's about that moment of decision, where you're trying to figure out how to adjust that fan-person relationship. It's about that moment where you're trying to figure out: Where do we place Bill Cosby in our minds?"

The Carmichael Show may only have one six-episode season under its belt, but they've already touched upon subjects like the Black Lives Matter movement and the transgender community, so we have a feeling they'll handle this with tact as well.

Bill Cosby now joins a long list of other entertainers whose tainted images have been addressed in film and TV, including Roman Polanski, Woody Allen, Chris Brown, and Michael Jackson, to name a few.

But what do U think??
