Pregnant Chrissy Teigen Is Still Working Out Five Times A Week - Get It, Girl!!

Mom-to-be Chrissy Teigen is staying on that gym grind during her pregnancy with her first child with husband John Legend.

The supermodel's trainer Simone De La Rue spilled the deets to People on the 30-year-old's 5-day-a-week fitness regimen:

"She's very dedicated. When you're in the spotlight, you have to take care of your body if you want to get your body back as quickly as you can. We obviously have to cater and modify, but it's surprising what you can still do. We check in with each other, and I always ask her how she's feeling. She listens to her body if some days she's not feeling up to it."

The only real difference between her workouts before and during pregnancy are that ab exercises are off limits after the first trimester. So instead, they focus on arm, butt, and leg strength:

"You need to have strong arms because you're going to be lifting the baby, so I use the resistance bands with her and we do bicep curls and tricep curls and some extensions. We use 3 and 5-lb. weights to do flies and overhead presses, really working on strengthening the shoulders and chest as well so that she's ready to hold the baby. We work on firing from the glutes to strengthen and keep a tight perky bottom throughout this. [We also work on] stabilization and balance, because it's something you have to work on as you're growing and the baby's growing – your balance really goes off [so you have to] keep strengthening the tendons and ankles."

Sounds like a good workout whether or not you're preggo!

But if you happen to be with child, breaking a sweat is a good thing as long as you pay attention to how you're feeling:

"Always stay in tune with your own body and see how you're feeling day to day. Every day is different – some days you have a lot of strength and other days you're extremely tired, so be gentle to yourself and be kind, but know that it's okay to work out, and it's okay to work up a sweat."
