Plenty of people have been calling out Stacey Dash after her controversial comments on FOX & Friends. ICYMI, the 49-year-old announced that she wanted to get rid of BET, the NAACP Awards, and even Black History Month!
The ridiculous remarks have garnered a lot of reactions from famous figures, but we happen to think Gabrielle Union's takes the cake!
At SundanceFilm Festival on Tuesday, the 43-year-old was asked by the Associated Press about the actress' statement, and the Bring It On alum declared that she wasn't familiar with the Clueless star!
"Who's that? Who's Stacey Dash? Is she like, related to Dame Dash? Was she onRoc-A-Fella [Records]?"
LOL! In fact, she only referred to her as a "crazy lady," adding:
"I heard of a crazy lady, once, maybe last week. I don't know what her name is."
But the gorgeous gal did weigh in on why BET and awards shows that celebrate minorities should continue to stick around, explaining:
"It's like why there's a need for The Birth of a Nation and why there's a need for the Country Music Awards and the ALMA Awards. If you don't see yourself reflected in mainstream awards, you tend to create your own."
The lovely lady even expressed that if we better our society, we'll be able to shut Stacey up, confessing:
"The more that we focus on inclusion and a true representation of this country, I think that crazy lady will have less to say."
Ch-ch-check out Gabrielle's PERFECT response (below)!
On Monday's show, the beloved host had star Dennis Quaid on to talk about the movie, which she said she absolutely loved. But she also took a moment to address the (probably abused) elephant in the room, asking the Parent Trap star to comment on the controversy.
Dennis talked about his own experience on set, which sounded a far cry different from the second unit video, saying:
