Kim Kardashian Is Shedding Pregnancy Pounds But Still Wants To Lose 40 More! Find Out How She Plans To Do It!

Kim is hoping to lose 2 pounds each week!

30 down, 40 to go!

Kim Kardashian West is working hard to shed those pregnancy pounds! Last month, the momma-of-two revealed that she put on 60 pounds before Saint West was born, and it already seems like she's making some pretty good progress.

On Monday, the 35-year-old took to Instagram to reveal that she was burning some calories with a little exercise, sharing:

And last week, the reality star revealed on Twitter that she's almost halfway towards her weight loss goal, writing:

Now that she's just about at the midway point, we're learning that the brunette beauty is planning on losing two pounds each week, until she reaches her target weight!

And just how is she going to do that?

Well, the lovely lady is on the Atkins diet! Her nutritionist Colette Heimowitz — who is also the Vice President of Nutrition Education and Science at Atkins — dished about her diet deets to Extra, saying:

"Because she's breastfeeding, we started her on the Atkins 40 program, which is a new entry point for Atkins, which allows her more carbohydrates. So we can pace the weight loss at two pounds a week, so that it won't affect her breast milk, and she gets adequate protein from chicken, fish, and some [red] meat, dairy from Greek yogurt and some cheese, lots of vegetables… low glycemic fruits like berries, healthy fats like nuts and olive oil — so many choices for her to make a healthy diet."

And the specialist explained that those morning jogs — along with other exercise — will totally help on her journey, adding:

"She's also exercising, so she'll sculpt her body with a personal trainer and lose 40 pounds of fat with us, and if it's two to three pounds a week, it will take a couple months."

The exec also revealed that the beauty of Kimmy's regimen is that she isn't dramatically cutting calories, admitting:

"On Atkins, you can take in more calories than you would on a typical low-calorie diet and lose actually more weight."

And if all of this sounds like the perfect plan for you, don't be glum! This isn't a stars-only program! Colette confessed:

"The meals that Kim is eating, anybody can do."

Kim also turned to Atkins after she gave birth to North West, too, so we totally know that this works!
