The Democratic candidate took the opportunity to explain her history with the GOP hopeful saying:
"We were not friends."
The 68-year-old went on to explain:
"We knew each other, obviously, in New York. I knew a lot of people."
This has all come up because the two politicians seemed to have a friendlier past than you would expect as Donald was quoted calling Hillary "a terrific woman" back in 2012. The former Celebrity Apprentice star even previously stated:
"I have known her for years. I live in New York, she lives in New York, and I've known her and her husband for years and I really like them both a lot."
We don't know exactly what changed for Donald, but during his run for the GOP nomination he has not only SLAMMEDBill Clinton for his history with women, but made some pretty sexist remarks toward his potential opponent.
Clinton went on to explain what she thinks about Trump:
"I don't really care that much about what he says about me because I do see that as, you know, politics – not particularly the brand I approve of…
I really care about what he says about other people, who don't have the voice and the platform, who are never going to be interviewed by PEOPLE Magazine, who could never stand up for themselves and respond to whatever is being said…I have looked in the eyes of a lot of American Muslims – doctors, business owners, lawyers, political leaders – and just seeing the confusion, the bewilderment, people who have lived in this country for decades. You know, What is he talking about? Why is he doing this? So I'm more concerned about the tone that is being set in the political debate this year because the last thing our country needs right now is more divisiveness, more mean-spiritedness."
Hillary's daughter Chelsea Clinton was also on hand during the interview and revealed:
"I've never had a relationship with Mr. Trump. My relationship has always been with [Trump's daughter] Ivanka Trump and certainly I do believe that friendship is more important than politics… I would never hold anyone accountable for what their parents or anyone else in their family said or did."
With everything that has been said over the past year, we doubt that any friendship will be made between the candidates now. We just hope for a good clean fight from here on out! We know, it's a pipe dream.
The YouTube celebrity posted a lengthy, emotional video revealing that she and her husband are ending their marriage.
While sharing the sad news with her over 4 million subscribers, Colleen immediately broke down, saying:
"I am dreading making this video. I'm just going to say it. Joshua and I are getting a divorce. Man, that sucks to say out loud."
But, Miz Ballinger stressed that her former flame didn't wrong her in any way, adding:
"I want to start off by saying Joshua is a wonderful man, and I am so in love with him. This has nothing to do with he's a bad person, or he did something horrible to me, or anything like that. He's a good person and I love him."
Instead, the singer clarified that they ultimately weren't a good fit together:
