The singer, who is pregnant with twins, WILL headline the festival in 2018 -- so at least the Beyhivé has that!
In a statement to The Associated Press on Thursday, Bey's Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice said:
On Friday, it was revealed that Michael Jackson's daughter isn't too happy with the way she's been treated by her followers on the picture sharing site. In fact, the starlet has expressed feelings of being "ripped to shreds daily." Oh no!
However, it appears the King of Pop's flesh-and-blood is not worried about taking on her haters as she recently posted a VERY lengthy rant about the ridiculous expectations that are put on her by strangers.
"This is f*cking ridiculous. I am expected to literally sit on my a*s all day replying to comments people leave me (positive and negative)?…I have AA meeting to go to. Family obligations. PERSONAL obligations. It's so f*cking selfish that I am literally attacked on ever f*cking thing I post just because people that I DON'T EVEN KNOW aren't getting what they want. I don't know any of you. I appreciate the love and support, but the expectations are f*cking ridiculous."
Whoa. Now that's intense.
While we're certainly concerned by this recent outburst, we're happy to read that Paris is simply just trying to put her mental health and happiness first — as any teenager should! Not to mention, the 17-year-old has struggled with depression in the past and sadly tried to end her life back in 2013.
Nonetheless, we respect M.J.'s daughter for standing her ground against her haters. She continued:
"The expectations for my DAD were f*cking ridiculous. He didn't owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. I will not let that happen to me."
Shut. It. Down. In a few separate comments that were screen shotted on IG, she noted:
Here's hoping the starlet's followers will cool it before pushing her to go completely MIA from social media all together. Fingers crossed!
